Call Recording in Google Ads launched
Call Recording in Google Ads launched
Now advertisers can use the feature of Call Recording in Google Ads to record and listen to phone calls made from call ads or extensions. Call tracking feature was available earlier also but now you can go beyond tacking total calls and call length.
Earlier advertisers used the third party software for call recording. Now this new feature of call recording in google ads will add more reliability and capability to the earlier call tracking feature.
When recording is enabled, a new column will be available in the call details report that allows you to play the audio of the call. Recorded calls are available for 30 days after the date of the call.
As per Google Ads Support, call records are not downloadable and are only available at Google Ads User Interface. There are certain requirements that you need to follow in order to enable call recording:
- Administrative access to the Google ads account.
- You need to enable call reporting in google ads.
- A US-based number or google enabled number.
- Verified domain ownership for all unique domains used in ads and extensions that you wish to record.
It is a good news that google has offered this feature for free that most of the businesses have to pay to third party platforms. Google ads is one of the most sophisticated software avaiable and requires professional management to generate desired results.
